Weight loss with Rebecca Gibney

By brad | December 15, 2011 | News | 2 Comments Tags: ,

If you have seen the latest New Idea you would have seen the amazing transformation of Rebecca Gibney.  Thank you to those readers who have both commended me on Rebecca’s transformation.  Unfortunately some emails have bounced back for some reason, so i apologize if i haven’t yet gotten to you…i most certainly will.  For the mean time i will Blog a general plan and pattern in response to the overall emails.

Also you would have seen a diet followed by her…NOT HER DIET!  A little correction there, I planned Rebecca’s Diet with careful consideration to her training and lifestyle.  Her amazing transformation was largely due to her commitment to my plan.  A plan is only as successful as the clients commitment.  It is true, we did stick to a no C.R.A.P. diet.  The theme was lean meats, reduced red meat (it was there but limited), true and whole food flavors.  With a greater focus on her overall state of well-being Rebecca was able to reduce stress levels and gain better sleep patterns.  This will always help with weight loss.

Her training was basic but structured, with three elements.  1. structural and functional strength (joint stability and functionality) 2. Mild but prolonged cardio vascular sessions 3. Yoga, the calming of the nervous system and total body movement.

I will publish her full program and diet in coming Blogs.  Just wanted to clarify a few things regarding the New Idea article.

My Tip, take time to look at all elements of your lifestyle, pick one of each element and make a simple and achievable change.  Stick with it for the next month taking you through to the new year…we can build on this platform.

Online ‘Self Scheduling service’

By brad | October 14, 2011 | News | 0 Comments

Online registrations update
There is no doubting that people are loving the new control of self scheduling.
The new system of ‘self scheduling service’ has really made a massive difference for those using group and gym use.  We have noticed a dramatic increase in online registrations.  With this increased use we have notice a few minor issues that we are attending to.

  • Firstly there is the issue of the ‘shut out’ while the monthly membership roles over, the system recognizes a ‘paid to date membership’ for online registrations.  We have changed memberships so that they auto renew 5 days before the membership rolls over.  This will eliminate the ‘lock out’ people have been experiencing.  If you are experiencing this please let us know so we can amend you membership plan.
  • You must register for Group or Gym.  There are set numbers in groups and gym use, please ensure that you book for your sessions.  You can book a month ahead.  These number are set to a programed format so please book.  We really do not want to have to turn away anyone.
  • You may only book one month ahead of time.
  • You may book two  gym visits in a row to make your session a one hour session. You may also book a gym session before or after your training session to make it a just that little bit more.
  • If you book and you do not use it, you will loose it.  24hr cancellation notice definitely applies to group and gym.

We are working on a chart of the most commonly used exercises for gym use to make the gym use experience easier.  Plus the use of Heart Rate monitors and structured Cardio Programs will be available for you to follow in the gym real soon.

New groups

So we have now added a new Yoga and a outdoor group

The popularity of the new group program is taking off.  The simplicity of the system is what is most appealing, along with the flexibility and great diversity of the sessions.
Kerrie really has started something here with her amazing techniques and peaceful charm!  Saturdays is just a one hour of power, start your weekends with a kick start or simply wring out your stress from the week.
Fridays, Regan is bring to you his cross training and mixed martial arts experience to deliver a routine that is interesting, fun and great value.  See you there.
